Privacy Policy

This policy covers this website. It is short because the site is: there is no account to create, no form to submit, and no analytics or advertising script running on it. Where we process personal data as part of an engagement, or through the subinc billing product, separate documents govern that — and this policy points you to them.
Who we are
SubincLabs, Inc. (“subinc labs”, “we”, “us”), a Delaware C Corporation at 1111b South Governors Ave, STE 33435, Dover, DE 19904, USA, is the controller for the personal data described here. Reach us at hello@subinclabs.com.
What this site collects
Nothing that you do not send us. Every contact route on this site is an email link that opens your own mail client — there is no form, so nothing reaches us until you press send. We run no analytics, no advertising or cross-site tracking, and no third-party scripts, and the site sets no cookies. Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than fetched from a font provider while you read.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — to deliver the site and to detect abuse. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you or to identify individual readers, and they are retained for a limited period.
When you email us
If you write to us we hold your message and your contact details for as long as it takes to answer and to carry on any conversation that follows. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you started, or the steps leading to a contract where you are asking us to quote for work. We do not add you to a marketing list because you wrote to us.
Client engagements
During an engagement we may process personal data held in a client's systems. In that role we act on the client's documented instructions as a processor, under the written agreement and data-processing terms signed for that engagement. This policy does not govern that processing, and it does not give end users of a client's product rights against us that the client's own policy is responsible for.
The subinc product
subinc, our billing platform, is a separate service on its own domain with its own privacy policy and data processing addendum. If your question is about data processed through that platform, it is answered at https://billing.subinclabs.com, not here.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider and our email provider, each processing on our behalf under contract. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for behavioural advertising, and we disclose it otherwise only where the law requires it or to establish or defend a legal claim.
International transfers
We are a United States company, and our providers may process data outside your country. Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on an appropriate safeguard such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of it, deletion of it, a portable copy, or a restriction on how we use it, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email hello@subinclabs.com and we will answer within the period the applicable law sets. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Where a change materially affects how we handle personal data we already hold, we will say so rather than rely on the date alone.
